We're hiring a perm AML position for our banking client.

Salary: 25-30,000 x 12 + bonus 

Responsibilities

• Perform transaction monitoring and investigate suspicious transactions or alerts generated by the AML/CFT systems.
• Analyze anti-money laundering reports to identify potential suspicious transactions and initiate necessary follow-up actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit suspicious transaction reports to the relevant authorities promptly.
• Assist the team lead in tracking the status of SAS cases and suspicious transaction reports, ensuring timely investigations and conclusions.
• Provide technical support for the Bank's AML systems, including addressing usage inquiries, collaborating with Business Analysts, and resolving application incidents.
• Support the Bank's AML system by managing inquiries, collaborating with Business Analysts, and troubleshooting application issues.
• Undertake any ad-hoc projects related to AML/CFT as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AML/CFT compliance, preferably focusing on transaction monitoring within banking.
• Certification in AAMLP, CAMS, or ECF is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of anti-money laundering regulations, guidelines, and practices.
• Experience with SAS programming and involvement in technical support for AML system implementation and RegTech solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, with strong analytical skills and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua preferred.
