Underwriter – Accident / Casualty / Financial Lines

Location: Hong Kong
Salary: HK$30,000 – HK$40,000+ (Depending on Experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite General Insurance business, including new submissions and renewals
• Evaluate risks, pricing and coverage terms to ensure profitability and portfolio quality
• Manage and grow assigned underwriting portfolio
• Work closely with brokers and distribution partners to provide underwriting solutions
• Support business development initiatives and product promotion activities
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and key business partners

Requirements

• Degree Holder
• Minimum 4-8 years of General Insurance underwriting or broking experience
• Experience in Accident, Casualty or Financial Lines is preferred
• Risk assessment and portfolio management experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Stable insurance underwriting background preferred
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
