Banking Operations (Multiple Streams)

Key Responsibilities

Our client, a reputable bank in Hong Kong, is currently seeking high-calibre banking professionals to join their expanding teams. We have multiple openings across different operational functions ranging from Maker to Checker levels:

• Stream 1: Account Opening & AML CDD

  • Perform and review Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles for retail/corporate clients.

  • Conduct AML risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and periodic reviews.

  • Act as a Checker to approve account opening documentation and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.

• Stream 2: Bills & Cheque Operations

  • Handle and verify inward/outward clearing cheques, auto-pay, and settlement processing.

  • Perform signature verification and review daily clearing reports as a Checker.

  • Resolve clearing discrepancies and liaise with interbank counterparties.

• Stream 3: Derivative Treasury Trade Settlement

  • Execute and verify end-to-end settlement for treasury products, including derivatives, fixed income, and FX.

  • Perform trade matching, confirmation monitoring, and regulatory reporting (e.g., HKTR).

  • Manage exceptions and investigation of breaks during the trade life cycle.

• Stream 4: Mortgage Loan Processing

  • Review and verify mortgage loan applications, legal documents, and facility letters.

  • Authorize loan drawdown and collateral registration processes as a Checker.

  • Coordinate with front-line frontline staff, solicitors, and external valuers.
