We are now looking for a talented HR Manager to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of HR, the incumbent is responsible for driving HR strategy, establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing advisory services on various HR topics, ensuring compliance with policies and local laws, and supporting others in people management.

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will work with a team of HR professionals to deliver a full spectrum of human resources functions.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work as a generalist covering compensation & benefits, recruitment & selection, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, engagement strategies and various HR projects. You will be required to deliver operational HR needs as well as thinking strategically about what is possible for the business. With a consultative and commercial approach you will be continuously looking for efficiencies and improvements, and recommending these to the business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support in developing, implementing, evaluating and improving all related compensation & benefits, retention, and reward and recognition programs.

  • Review payroll and benefits administration, staff cost budgeting, and salary increments.

Recruitment

  • Support staff recruitment process including screening candidates, conducting interviews, job offers and staff on-boarding procedures.

Employee Engagement

  • Plan & deliver quality and engaging programs in order to improve engagement and retention for the Club.

  • Deliver & manage internal communications on various platform to all staff.

Business Partnering / Leadership

  • Work closely with the business leaders, managers and staff to deliver value-added HR service.

  • Provide guidance and counsel on company policies and procedures, Employment Ordinance framework on employee related matters.

Job Specification:

Education:       University Graduate in Human Resources Studies or related discipline.

Experience:     At least 6 years’ experience in a similar role. Advantage in Education.    

Skills:

  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Good presentation, interpersonal, communications and facilitation skills and be able to communicate effectively with diverse workforce and members.

  • Well versed in Employment Ordinance, related legislation and its best practices.

  • Hands on computer skills.
